A dated one-story ranch with walk-out basement on the coast of Harpswell was in dire need of a visual entrance, as well as a deck that could shade the owner on the south side of the house.
DM/A updated the house by extending the roof over a new south-facing deck, removing the covered porch, adding a new covered entry, and new exterior finishes. A cedar board screen wall not only provides privacy on the deck but also filters sunlight that will continually change day to day.
Phase 1 of this project mainly deals with exterior projects and provides a new set of details that will be used to carry the project forward.
