DM|A assisted the owner in renovating a Butler metal building into a 10 lane, 10-pin bowling center and a family restaurant and bar called Easy Day (“The only easy day was yesterday” is a motto of the US Navy Seals).

Designed to be flexible, the arrangement of seating allows for private functions, large gatherings, and intimate settings with stunning views of the Portland skyline.

A new main entrance was designed facing the street which created a large vestibule and new signage, and the use of wood was used to introduce a new, softer material.
