A cottage on the rocks with views of the Winnegance had been added to and altered over time, but had passed its prime. DMA designed a completely new and updated main floor, but as demolition started, ended up altering the lower floor as well.

For the Winn is now a completely new house with incredible views throughout the house of the water. The owners enjoy various seating and viewing areas on each floor to watch nature outside their home. Daylight floods the house with the help of high dormers

Although built on ledge, the Contractor paid careful attention during construction to mitigate water and vapor, and provided well-insulated house with good air-quality.

The interior design evokes the natural setting that the house is surrounding by, and provides an ambiance throughout the house that feels very comfortable. After a couple of years living here, the owners said they “would not change anything.”
