Goose Rock Guest House

A clean and contemporary aesthetic define the design of this 400 sf guest cottage, with hints of natural and painted wood to provide some softness and evoke some of the original charm.
The exterior, clad in black clapboard siding, black windows and black roof, provide a contrast to the white interior, which acts as a clean backdrop to the owner’s extensive artwork.
The guest house will serve as a living space while the main house is being reconstructed. Some of the design features were essentially tested in the guest cottage and will be replicated in the main house, such as waterfall counters and stone panel wood stove heat shield.
