Homage Restaurant
Freeport, Maine

Builder: Burnham and Lobozzo
The popular Corsican Cafe and Chowder House in Freeport burned to the ground in 2016. DMA was responsible for designing a new 2-story restaurant that closely resembled the existing restaurant, except this time to updated building codes.
Once constructed, new owners of the restaurant, now called Homage Restaurant, took over the interior finishes and design and opened up in early 2018.
DMA created a design that was a reflection of the existing building, but also incorporated wonderfully daylighted space with cathedral ceilings and and outdoor and covered seating area on the second floor. A small bar area provides lively seating on the first floor.
Construction by Burnham and Lobozzo.
