We worked with clients many years ago on Long Lake in Harrison and when an opportunity came up to relocate their summers to Kennebunkport they jumped at the chance.

We first had to navigate the site restrictions due to sand dunes and flood elevations that left pockets of buildable areas. Once we manuvered a design of a three bedroom (convertible to four bedroom) house, the poor soils forced a number of borings for the foundation.

The outcome is a client-specific design that captures ocean views from every room, and a variety of opportunities for living and entertaining like tucked-away breakfast nooks, clever office spaces, and a dining room that opens to a half-round porch.
