The old Grand City department store, in the middle of Maine Street Brunswick, is now the home to Cool As A Moose and Artforms. This multi-faceted project included renovating a 1960’s, tired and aging 40,000 sf building into a modern retail, office, and production center.

The exterior was modernized by the use of aluminum sunshades and Solera diffusing glass in the storefront system.

A new canopy and a unique signage system complete a face lift of this tired brick building. An abundance of natural light now perforates the building with over 7,000 sf of flooring removed.

Cool As A Moose was awarded a historic preservation award from the Brunswick Downtown Association in May, 2012.
