DMA was tasked with designing an addition to a summer cottage in a similar aesthetic to the original one-story cottage. DMA proposed a screen porch to help seamlessly tie new into old. 

Although a summer residence, the new addition has modern amenities like insulated walls and an air-source heat pump for heating and cooling. In addition, the natural daylight flows into the new wing through high windows in cathedral ceilings, capped off with stunning bead board finish to the ceiling.

The new wing allows the clients a private oasis among the family activities just a screen porch away.
