When the owners started spending more time in Maine and extending their season here, the small, cold and leaky log cabin was not as appealing as it was years ago.

DMA designed a new home that represents the owner’s style of living, clean lines with a modern aesthetic, and energy efficiency to make for a comfortable home in all seasons. A stone accent wall greats guests and continues to the interior to truly bring the outside in. From there Douglas fir accent wall guides the visitor into the great room and kitchen with a seamless paneled design and embedded linear light fixture.

The view from the two-story great room is breathtaking, and common design elements throughout the house emphasize the simple, clean lines focused views.

The large triple-glazed windows provide views without compromising energy efficiency.  Construction by Thorner Building Corp. .
